Addiction

We all have addictions to varying degrees. It’s not just about the major matters of fags and booze, the legal substances that are so closely knit to social interaction. Apart from illegal drugs there is a whole gamut of sugar, snacks, internet, sex, work-outs, talking, working and so on. Our addictions link to reasons such as, feeling alone and abandoned, lack of self confidence, broken relationships, Stressful jobs, bereavement, disappointment, shock, procrastination, anaesthetising pain and an unwillingness to change belief systems that ultimately need to be redefined.

As part of your detox, Lynne offers counselling in terms of understanding what goes on in the body when you drink for example, and how it overloads the organs and supporting the mind and body through vitamin therapy, amino acids, cleansing diet, diet to help with the sugar withdrawal which will be obvious and how to avoid replacing one addiction with another. Information in this paragraph is taken from essay by Lynne Oliver on our Web Page. The week will help you to become aware of addictive behaviour and how to stop it adding to the need for a further earlier detox!
